Start slowly and master each hand before compiling them.
The melody part does not start on the open string, so this creates an off-kilter feel until you get used to it. Tap our foot on the 1 & 4 as you count 1 2 3 4 5 6 of the 6/8 time.
Pay attention to the dynamics of all the notes. The potential for unintentional accents on either hand is high.
Notice the bass note pairs need to ring into one another, which is another challenge to the coordination.

Once you get the hang of this exercise, ditch my patterns and do something new with the Whole-Half Diminished scale provided or any you are working on.
Scales are useful to put you into a realm with the right sort of vibe, but don’t forget to let your ear guide your choices and always be open to Chromatic notes.
