PRACTISING 36: Rhythm & Lead Study 2 - Chords & Modes for Improv

In part 1 we focussed on one chord and mode as the basis for the lesson.

In part 2 you try all seven chords in a key with their matching modes.

They are arranged so that the groups of modes and chords are in single positions with matching shapes, so that you can dive back & forth without much fuss.

There is a video below so you can see the fingerings and a demo of how to use the shapes for some improv.

The purpose of this practise method is to connect two major strands of study.
