NOTATION 31: Bach Loops
This slice of Bach below is a great example of how different lines can weave and blend to form one unified writhing part.
Certainly food for thought in a two guitar lineup, if you are keen not to do the obvious parallel fifths or counterpoint 3rds which all Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden fans enjoy.
There are two treble voices and one bass.
The key is Dm. Time is 6/8.
For fun I decided to use a Looper to play each line on the guitar.
I used different pickup choices to make the lines easier to parse.
Here they are in turn.
Apologies: I missed the tied note in line 2 during the looped demo but did play it in the breakdown. I completely missed the trill though.
