This is an evergreen activity because arpeggios are useful improvisational tools, technically and providers of chord shapes. Playing them in this interconnected structure also reinforces the full use of the fretboard.

Play through the arpeggios below with fingerings provided underneath each note.

They are all D, F and A (repeated in that order).

DFA are the notes of a D minor chord (or triad).

The intervals are R b3 5.

Arpeggios are simply chords broken into their constituent notes and reassembled in alphabetical order from the root or tonic (in this case D).
