There are a four basic forms to learn so that you can string triads together across the board and roam in all directions.
Each triad shape leads to the next and has its own fingering, after a while you will think of each 3-note pattern as one portable item.
I have chosen the Diminished Triad for this lesson.

Now try breaking out of the shapes by sliding up or down the string from every interval to the next. In the video I only did this after the fourth shape.
You should also start thinking about converting this Diminished Triad into Major, Minor, Sus 2&4 and then extending these to 6, 7, 9, 11, 13….
